STATUS UPDATE September 6, 2008: There was a malicious security breach into our site on June 1, 2008, which forced us to take the site “offline.”

The site is now operational as of September 6, 2008. Please spread the word.

Our apologies for this long extended delay in making the site available  to  you. We will be continuing our regular show (commentaries and conversations) schedule shortly. Thank You for your patience and understanding.

The president has lost interest in the law or the institutions of government that protect the whole people. The Congress is awash in a sea of self-serving legislative bookmarks, is corrupted by money, has gone deaf in a cacophony of siren songs sung by beltway lobbyists. The rule of law quivers on foundations weakened by presidential signing statements; categorical assertions of executive privilege; historical amnesia about habeas corpus, search and seizure, cruel and unusual punishment, and even the right to assemble. All these protections were to have been bedrock for this nation, and all these are today neglected, forgotten, amended, and even rejected.

This website is dedicated to reviving our recollection of the very foundations of the republic and the revival of the stories and the story tellers who keep the idea of freedom alive. - Craig Barnes (Founder Democracy at the Crossroads: A Nation Deceived)
